What we're working on.
Our family's New Years Eve party was Rome-themed (togas and all), so we couldn't resist pulling out Dark Cities Vol VI for some last-minute testing! The game is a struggle for power as you try to become the next ruler of Rome. Our recent focus has been making sure the game stays life and death exciting and rewards strong players, while still allowing ways for early-exiled players to re-enter the game, stay very involved, and have a shot at pulling off an incredible comeback.
It has been so much fun to test, and may be my personal favorite of the series so far (don't tell Bristol)! We're currently working hard on the graphic design and illustration of the game and hope to show you more soon.
The coolest thing we saw this month.
We introduced the movie Home Alone to our kids over break. The next day they came up with a plan in case intruders get any ideas.
